Hello,

My name is Carlos Laate. I am traditional Zuni Potter. I have been making pottery for 31 years. The ones who influence my art are my grandparents Sidney & Daisy Hooee. The way my art is made is with natural clay and pigments. It is all hand done using traditional designs that have their own representation. My works is unique in that it is all handmade and natural and fired outside the traditional way.
